4TH ANNUAL HUDSON VALLEY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
On April 25, 2010, The Mission Church held the Fourth Annual Hudson Valley Leadership Summit. Church leaders from all across the Hudson Valley came together under the theme, "Relevance Without Compromise." Keynote Speaker, Dr. Earl Creps was joined by Alvin Slaughter and other exceptional speakers providing insightful teachings on how to reach our generation with relevance without compromising the principles of God's Word.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. Earl Creps
Earl Creps is a specialist on missional Christianity, Postmodernism, Communication and Leadership. He brings a rich background in communications and pastoral ministry to his teaching. He has served as a pastor in Vermont, Maine, Florida and Missouri—often utilizing radio and television as well as blogging and podcasting. He has been active in district ministries, serving as a sectional presbyter in the Northern New England District Council. On the national level, served as adult ministries consultant for The General Council of the AG and has been a member of various General Council committees.
Dr. Creps began his teaching career in the state university system of Vermont and has also served as adjunct faculty for several Christian institutions. Dr. Creps is a frequent speaker at conventions, seminars and retreats with special interests in the missional church, communication , and leadership training. He has published a well-received book, Off-Road Disciplines: Spiritual Adventures of Missional Leaders (Jossey-Bass Leadership Network Series) and a second book entitled Reverse Mentoring for the same publisher.

Alvin Slaughter
Alvin Slaughter has been a pivotal part of the growth of praise and worship in the Church. The former lead male vocalist of the multiple GRAMMY Award winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is known for his cross-cultural songs and a smooth blending of gospel and contemporary Christian music, creating a style that’s uniquely his own. After Eight solo albums, Alvin has received Dove Award nominations for Praise & Worship Album of the Year, Contemporary Black Gospel Album of the Year and Contemporary Black Gospel Song of the Year as well as a Stellar Award nomination for Best Male Solo Performance.
In addition to his distinguished singing career, Alvin has become known as an inspirational motivational speaker throughout South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and the United States. His infectious enthusiasm and practical life experience have inspired thousands to achieve God's highest destiny for their lives.

Rev. Dave Nuzzolo
Dave Nuzzolo is Executive Pastor at Bethlehem Assembly of God on Long Island, New York. His portfolio includes the establishment of small group ministry, leadership training and development, as well as superintending its process of strategic planning for growth, discipleship and assimilation.
Dave also served on the Assemblies of God Long Island Executive Committee as well as participating in their strategic church planting assessment team. In 2007, he was elected to the Assemblies of God New York District Presbytery and serves as the Presbyter of the Long Island Section. He is also the founder of ReQuip, an equipping ageny that assists established churches in revitalizing, planting new churches and training ministers for effective ministry.

Rev. Esther Terry
Born and raised in The Netherlands, Esther Terry served God in a worldwide missions ministry for many years. Her passion is for all people to know God intimately and experience His destiny for their lives. She currently serves as an associate Pastor of Calvary’s Love church where her husband, Jerry is the senior Pastor. Besides their church family, they have three adult children who are all serving God and two grandchildren.
Esther shares an anointed message that flows out of her love and devotion for Jesus.

Rev. Gregg Johnson (host pastor)
Gregg Johnson is Senior Pastor of The Mission Church in New YorkState and founder of Global Leadership Training. Pastor Gregg is ordained with The Assemblies of God and serves as Presbyter of the Hudson Valley Section of the NY District. He lives in New York, USA with his wife Laura and has five children and one grandson.
Pastor Gregg is also founder and keynote speaker of Global Leadership Training, an international equipping ministry that provides leadership training conferences to pastors and church leaders throughout East and West Africa and India. Gregg Johnson has authored four books, “The Character of Leadership”, “Raising the Standard of Leadership," "Ethics for Church Leaders," and recently released, "Crisis, Conflict & Change."
As well, he and his ministry staff publish “Leadership Teaching Magazine” a 24 page periodical which addresses important topics on leadership and ministry and is provided to almost 4,000 indigenous pastors around the world.
